  Re: Tatsumaki

(...) I have been thinking about Tatsumaki and I plan to make some changes soon, but for now I am working on a new mech and I hope to have it done by the end of the week. Pics and a post on that mech soon. I also plan to add more pics of the (...) (20 years ago, 17-Nov-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

New and old to lugnet at the same time :-)

Hi Everyone, I'm Samarth Moray, and I'm 16. I've been playing with Lego, like most of you, since I was a kid. I'm new to lugnet because this is my first post, but I'm 'old' to lugnet because I've been lurking around for a year now. That basically (...)   Re: Some recent brickshelf finds

(...) The MS-18E alone is worth the price of admission just for the great piece usage. I would have never thought to pop the rotating part out of the 2x2 turntable plate if I hadn't seen it used on this MOC. (20 years ago, 14-Nov-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Some recent brickshelf finds

(URL) Gundam with detechable armour, Kampfer, GP-01 etc. All great works. The MS-14A Gelgoog and MS-18E Kampfer are very small but still have great details and proportion. (URL) is the precursor of Five Star Stores. This model looks perfect because (...) (20 years ago, 11-Nov-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: SnowCat

Well done Mark, those Freddy Krueger hands are a nice touch. I know, they are for clawing through ice, or giant snow-mice or something. This one reminds me of your Hammer mech a bit, but thats a good thing. Congrats on winning the awards as well. (...) (20 years ago, 11-Nov-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: SnowCat

(...) mark, my man! i was wondering when you would post another of your reversed- knee mech masterpieces. apparently, you aim to please your fans. this is the most organic-looking mech i've seen you create. the overall form is vintage mark newmann.   Re: GAT-X105 Aile Strike Gundam

(...) I'll agree with both your pros and your cons. The backpack looks great, I like the hands, and the upper body is exactly right. I don't think the legs need to be longer, but I think they would be improved if they were "beefier". If you built up (...) (20 years ago, 11-Nov-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Tatsumaki

(...) This is really nicely done. I appreciate the in-progress shots, but with the black skeleton, it's a little hard to see the details. That's a lot of ball joints! Looks like an articulated "spine" too--he can do sit-ups? My suggestion--this mech (...) (20 years ago, 11-Nov-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: SnowCat

(...) I was bummed when I tried the BS link and it didn't work--thanks for re-uploading. This thing won an award for best medium mecha? Would it have won for best large mech if you hadn't brought the Hammer along too? I like the light blue/white (...) (20 years ago, 11-Nov-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

(...) up any of the ball sockets, like in the knees for example? That blue is a very nice color. This is just fantastic. Great shape and scale, love the facial expression. I got no real critique save wondering how the joints hold. Maybe also (...) (20 years ago, 10-Nov-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: GAT-X105 Aile Strike Gundam

  Re: GAT-X105 Aile Strike Gundam

Wow, wow, wow, (...) If you could get those flat techic plate click hinges, those would probably suit you well for the knees in this scale. (SW AT-AT or AT-TE joints) I should say though, I think you captured the Gundam quite well! (...) Don't (...) (20 years ago, 10-Nov-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  ]peek-a[ BOO!

Well, there are no pictures of creations to post at the moment--they are either in a disposable camera or waiting to be completed--but I wanted to say "Salaam waw layquum" and a belated "Happy Halloween".   Re: Tatsumaki

Wow, sweet mother of nuggetrons. Pretty cool way to make use of Titan parts sans blue. I love the way you incorporated the samurai armor look. What were the odds that two Titan bases mecha would show up so close to each other. I would have replied (...) (20 years ago, 10-Nov-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Hi my name is Marcus Clancy and this is my first post on Lugnet. I wanted to show my new mech and possibly hear some feedback. Hmmm, my origional folder got deep sixed somehow and BS folks didn't restore it, so I've reposted the pics here: (URL) SnowCat> It may have to re-moderate as well so just hold on a sec, and the deep links on the origional post still work anyway.
