(...) Rubino! Long Tyme (TM) no hear! I heard you were working on an epic creation. How have you been? Thanks for the feedback. The word proboscii didn't go through my head. Funny because that's just what they are! e (20 years ago, 30-Sep-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Waswillbe - The RG Mech 2.0

(...) Thanks Jah-son, I don't often re-do a robot, so this was fun to do. Really though it seems smaller to you? It's not though. It's bigger, taller and has thumbs! LOL! (...) I should do that. Funny thing I noticed about the Record and Play unit. (...) (20 years ago, 30-Sep-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Mobile Anti-Aircraft Platform MAAP-210

-snip- great post - excellent write up. Wow, the sheer amount of parts on this thing is staggering. Yikes. You used some excellent parts at the tips of the legs on the feet. That really is a choice part for the job of the toe spike. I think its (...) (20 years ago, 30-Sep-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) The stuff I saw was in an H. R. Giger retrospective book that I got as a gift. If you Google "H. R. Giger Alien concept art" you'll get a bunch of links you can check out if you're interested.   Re: Mobile Anti-Aircraft Platform MAAP-210

(...) Nice work, Allister. I agree with Mladen about the "head" not being sleek enough, although after looking at the interior I guess it was more difficult to work around than it looks at first. Those legs still look grouse, even if they do render (...) (20 years ago, 29-Sep-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Mobile Anti-Aircraft Platform MAAP-210

(...) I shudder in fear, I think it would take the combined firepower of every mech I've ever built to bring this monstrosity down. You've really accomplished a lot of the Mladen cues on the MAAP-210, like the studlessness, the tight color scheme, (...) (20 years ago, 29-Sep-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Z797

(...) Thanks Keith. I'm kinda partial to the main gun myself. It just sort of fell into place. As far as being a combination of Mladen and Soren's stuff, you hit the nail on the head. (...) snip I've really enjoyed your innovative piece usage on your power suit and Z series. It reminds me of the art of H.R. Giger, who did the original concept art for the alien in the movie Alien.   Re: Waswillbe - The RG Mech 2.0

Eric love this design! The insect theme comes through strong with the six legs, compound looking green eyes, and wings to boot. The head as usual is epic with the twin proboscii mouthparts reminding me of a moth's feeding apparatus. Ryan (20 years ago, 28-Sep-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Brayton, my man, I can't believe nobody has responded to this....what a kick-a@# mecha! That main-gun with all the hoses and action rocks...actually the whole thing rocks.
