  Re: PA005A

(...) Thanks E. Sometimes I wish I could be a kid again with a whole bunch of these guys. I can a least imagine as you said. See ya! (20 years ago, 8-Sep-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: "Juggernaut" Medium Assault Mecha

Nice juggs, Todd! There's something solidly reassuring about the single brick widths you have running around and around your mecha. Very smooth. Keep it up! -Teddy (20 years ago, 8-Sep-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  Re: PA005A

I just went through the set of shhwweet pics. Great Photos! The scale and clarity of design bring you to a place where these suits are used and the fun can be imagined. Thank you. e (20 years ago, 8-Sep-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: PA005A

(...) If this was sold as a set, I would buy it in an instant. If instructions were sold, I would buy them in an instant. If you just gave out the instructions, you'd be my hero. ~Kevin Oh and I still like the original better ;) (20 years ago, 8-Sep-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: "Juggernaut" Medium Assault Mecha

(...) I know this was mainly a "big joint" showcase project, but I really like the hand design, specifically the part the fingers are mounted on. I can't remember ever seeing that before. Overall, it's a really interesting mix of Battletech and (...) (20 years ago, 8-Sep-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  Re: PA005A

(...) snip This is pretty cool, David. The two kinds of mechs I'd like to see in person are really compact ones, like yours, and really big ones, like Eric's. In other words, the extremes of scale are the ones hardest to "get" through pics. I agree (...) (20 years ago, 8-Sep-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: PA005A

At first glance this "production" version of the PA005 didn't appeal to me as much as the original "prototype". However, after looking at it for a while, I like this suit just as much! :-) I'm really amazed at how everything is so compact and that (...) (20 years ago, 7-Sep-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  PA005A

Due to the influx of different Interstellar Alliance citizens to the Marine Core, Tieran R&D was tasked with the development of a Power Armor that could handle varied life support systems. This resulted in the creation of PA005A. (URL) Please click (...) (20 years ago, 7-Sep-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: "Juggernaut" Medium Assault Mecha

(...) Thanks, Mladen. BTW, I really looking foward to seeing your future mecha using the new joint elements. I think you could build one that's a little lighter than mine -not so top heavy. Later, Todd (20 years ago, 7-Sep-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Tanks or Power Armor

(...) As far as "the dozen or so most powerful militaries" today, it is them that have all (or most of) the ABC-weapons and mines, and the only treaties I'm awere of has been ones designed to prevent others from getting them, or scrapping outdated (...)   Re: "Juggernaut" Medium Assault Mecha

Excellent mecha Todd! I like the proportions and the overall clean design. That colour scheme is truly yours and it works well for this mecha. Nicely done. MOCs like this gives me the urge to build. :-) Keep up the good work Todd. (URL) Mladen (...) (20 years ago, 7-Sep-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) Your kind words are much appreciated, Eric. And thanks again for going to the trouble of posting a preview shot on the main page here- I still have'nt figured out how to embed images into my posts. Later, Todd (20 years ago, 7-Sep-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: "Juggernaut" Medium Assault Mecha

(...) Yeah those joint are nice, I replaced the knee, waist and shoulder joints in my gundam with them and now its even better. Nice work there, and that sword is pretty darn cool.I only wish they made those joints in more colors though.... (20 years ago, 7-Sep-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  Re: "Juggernaut" Medium Assault Mecha

(...) Wow, I too have been experimenting with those new joints, but have yet to build anything like this. I know it's a Mecha but this MOC screams BattleTech to me, I love it. Especially the inside-the-sholder Missiles. Awesome work. One question, (...) (20 years ago, 7-Sep-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  "Juggernaut" Medium Assault Mecha

After nearly a month of trail and error, I've managed to build a decently sized mecha with the new clicking ball and socket elements from this summer's wave of Designer sets.
