  Re: Giant Demonic Armor!

(...) The little bitty armored head is very nice, as is the bristly look of the beast and the splash of color you added. Some great weapons going on there too. Looks a bit big in the shoulders for the legs you've got on him, but maybe that adds to (...) (20 years ago, 3-Jun-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Ronin attack mecha

Just a mech I built to try a few new (old) techniques, cause I'm still learning. I felt it came out good enough to post, so here it is! (URL) McNamee (20 years ago, 3-Jun-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Hardsuit Redesign

(...) photo snip (...) You took a great hardsuit and made it an awesome pint-sized Gundam/Matrix APU hybird. Sweet! This thing has got to be in the running for Best Hardsuit Ever. Thanks for posting. (20 years ago, 3-Jun-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

In lugnet.build.mecha, Frank Kopanitsanos wrote: snip (...) Frank, I think the face/helmet is just about perfect for what you were going for. I agree, it could be a bit bigger, but I don't see how you would change it without going too big. That (...) (20 years ago, 3-Jun-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Hardsuit Redesign

This mecha / hardsuit is fantastic! It looks like some tropical forest mech I find in some of the French comics I read (Travis for the ones who read the same stuffs - lot of inspiration - a (URL) link> to the cover I am thinking of). I saw the (...) (20 years ago, 3-Jun-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Hardsuit Redesign

(...) snip pic (...) snip pic (...) Woah! I like the busy torso & the tapering shovels on the guns. I'd probably go with only 2 arms myself, but the 4 arms do fit the 'busy' look of the mecha. The round tiles on either side of the knee & the (...) (20 years ago, 3-Jun-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Hardsuit Redesign

Duuu...uuude. That's niiice. The arms are perfect now, the guns are big and shooty and I still can't figure out how it's built :). Great work. You should put it up on MOCpages so I can give it the five stars it deserves. Soren (20 years ago, 3-Jun-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New MOC: Pirate Landmate

(...) Do you know why floating heads don't like to go dancing? Because they have nobody to dance with! Mmmmppppfffffffrrrrr ouarf ouarf ouarf! Soren I think you just solved this problem! Nice lil'landmate! Cheers (and bad puns), JP. (20 years ago, 3-Jun-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Hardsuit Redesign

I got bored so I rebuilt the arms of my hardsuit and added weaponry. There is also a little boost pack on the rear. (3 URLs) Comments would be appreciated. -Brayton (20 years ago, 3-Jun-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  New MOC: Pirate Landmate

(URL) A light landmate, based on Jun Nishizawa's HUMPTY-DUMPTY. Designed to support boarding operations in microgravity. Armed with a cutter bar and flechette rifle. Enjoy! Soren (20 years ago, 2-Jun-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.space, FTX)

Thanks, guys. I'm glad I got it right the second time. Now if only next project would start coming together :P (20 years ago, 2-Jun-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Civilian exosuit

(2 URLs) This came about after I, while working on another project, happened to spot a ninja helmet, and thinking "Hey, this piece might work for some kind of hip joint", and after trying it out, finding it indeed did work for a hip joint, the rest (...)   Re: Giant Demonic Armor!

(...) I'd say you succeeded. It has the proportions of a human, with perhaps one exception - the head is a bit too small to fit the body IMO, but since it *is* a mecha, there's really nothing wrong with that. If you ignore the fact that it's a (...) (20 years ago, 2-Jun-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Giant Demonic Armor!

Well, This is my second attempt at bridging the gap between castle and mecha(an unlikely combination, i know!) and i hope that i have done better this time. With my last castle-mecha i was told that it seemed too mechish for castle, so i tried to (...) (20 years ago, 2-Jun-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.castle, lugnet.announce.moc)

BRAVO! Awesomely done Troy! I love it when people actually take advice and remake something to make it better. The original was so close to being something quite cool. Which you have done amazingly. (...) I love that beer-can rack that comes out of its back. That's beautiful! (And if they're not beer cans, they should be--my only beef being that I didn't think beer was sold in eights...) All around beautiful, this. LFB (20 years ago, 1-Jun-04, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
