  Re: Pair of Armored Mechs

(...) Thanks a lot! Well, if you look at the CoLUG pics, you'll see we had too much fun making them sumo-wrestle and so-forth. The pop-up cockpit was, in truth, inspired by Pez dispensers. As for the claws, note that the prototype has bony (...) (21 years ago, 9-Feb-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: B.I. Joe: S.N.A.K.E. Battle Armor

(...) Hehe...thanks! Dr. Mindbender has a subroutine that permits hugs. He's an odd fellow - but the purple cape and big honkin' medallion likely clued us in to that fact already. Cheers, -G (21 years ago, 9-Feb-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Pair of Armored Mechs

Very cool mechs!! there so fun, nice and bulky. Looks like something Nasa would use in planet exploration =) (21 years ago, 7-Feb-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New Mecha - The Rizmit

That thing is huge, you think a bit to big, rofl. Awesome creation, I couldnt even make half of that just parts wise, haha. Cant wait to see that thing actualy move in some kind of movie, You make sure you tape something for us !! (21 years ago, 7-Feb-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: New Mecha - The Rizmit

(...) Bro, very nice. Very nice indeed. Like Keith, I dig the head, per all Sophie mecha. Quite unique, yet it hearkens back to my all time fave, the big red robot. Sweetness. Hope all is well.   Re: Pair of Armored Mechs

These are fun! Clean looking too. Look like they should be boxing it out in some kind of arena. The pop up cockpit, very nice. the arm / claw combo makes them look rudimentary and on the "crude" end of the scale of functionalblity. I think it's (...)   Re: New Mecha - The Rizmit

Holy catfish Eric. Fun fun fun, I expect Rizmit will be showing itself off for you? These creations of yours are getting more and more refined. That's what I'm seeing. Jama blows folks away but the proportions are kind of funny. Rizmit is sleeker, (...) (21 years ago, 7-Feb-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Pair of Armored Mechs

I love how the pilot chamber lifts out with the head. Very nice! It reminds me of a big version of those dinosaur embryo freezing chambers from the first Jurassic Park movie. (21 years ago, 7-Feb-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New Mecha - The Rizmit

I really admired the style of this old foot: (URL) the new incarnation is certainly more practical and functional.   Re: New Mecha - The Rizmit

Excellent work Eric. As always, I'm boggled by all the mechanical/electrical systems you put into your 'bots, so I guess I focus on, and appreciate, the actual 'design' solutions a bit more. In particular, the V-shaped waist area lends a bold (...) (21 years ago, 7-Feb-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Pair of Armored Mechs

(...) Wow! Those are awesome! The chunky shape works beautifully. They're big, they're clunky, they look like they're going to tear something apart. The way you did the head, with the sensors and stuff, is excellent! -Mark (21 years ago, 6-Feb-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Pair of Armored Mechs

Hello .Mecha! Here are some mechs. They're a little taller than Bionicle Toas. I was quite glad to find a use for those odd corner parts from set 6441.   Re: B.I. Joe: S.N.A.K.E. Battle Armor
