(...) That'd be awesome. When does this event happen? (You'll need 2 domes btw.) A (21 years ago, 8-Oct-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

(...) dude. Sorry, :) (...) mmmm, imagine dark red turntables. mmm...mmm This monster would look good in dark red, real good. (...) Bring it on man. Actually this comment means a lot to me.   Re: Puppy Mecha - F.I.D.O.

(...) Actually, I'm planning on going to BricksFest PDX. If you get me the instructions, I'll build one for you. I think I even got a white dome. If I don't, I'll get one. Mark (21 years ago, 8-Oct-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Black Mamba Mk II

Usually, I am a quiet lurker in .space, and only occaisionally swing by .mecha to look at the latest MOCs. Given my relative inexperience in Mecha, my praise may not be worth much, but here it is anyway. Wow. When I checked the link I was really (...) (21 years ago, 8-Oct-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: it's finally here!

(...) Yes please. Sounds interesting. BTW Brickshelf folders display alphabetically, so if you don't want brickshelf to put certain pictures first in the folder, simply prefix them with a 'z' before uploading. Or am I stating the obvious? I now (...) (21 years ago, 8-Oct-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Black Mamba Mk II

(...) Excellent. I much prefer this to the original. It's sleeker, lighter and armed to the hilt. It's the gun mounts (and what guns they are!) replacing those somewhat simian arms that does it for me I think. They seem to go better with that leg (...)   Re: Puppy Mecha - F.I.D.O.

(...) Thanks Mark. It could be tricky getting it there from Brisbane Australia. Besides the quarantine laws for getting it back here are a real bugger ;) However, it's pretty simple to build. I could make instructions so that someone there can make (...) (21 years ago, 8-Oct-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: it's finally here!

(...) ah,yes...the spine. i originally had a pic of the back of the spine w/othe grey pieces, but i had to remove it because brickshelf made that pic the cover of the whole file. anyways, on the opposite side of the ball joints, i ran a stiff, but (...) (...) alright! alright! don't shoot my eva--i don't have weapons for it yet!. ok..i can see why you named your latest behemoth "black mamba". the arms look very snake-like. how did you achieve that? dig that color scheme, too as well as your (...) (21 years ago, 7-Oct-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Black Mamba Mk II

The first Black Mamba was somewhat unstable: (URL) those Weaselys. So, in true fashion, I made a new Black Mamba: (URL) folks, Post mod folder: (URL) Daddy (Did I manage the 10,000 post in build.mecha? Cool.) (21 years ago, 7-Oct-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: it's finally here!

Jason, It's been cool seeing your stuff and I really enjoy watching your mechs grow from creation to creation. Keep it up. (...) I totally dig the spine. We were talking about that a little at NWBC last weekend. How to get really mobile and (...) (21 years ago, 7-Oct-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Phantasm

Ok, this is seriously cool. I thought the brain was brilliant. Maybe a trans helmet or dome on top of it? This sucker is hard to see, If the friction pins were trans I think I would have lost this mech entirely. cool Snow Daddy (21 years ago, 7-Oct-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: My First Mecha

This ain't bad. You got a pretty workable armature there I think. More basic than Gla Gla's but easier for the average Lego builder to reproduce I think. I'd suggest trying to eliminate one of the braces (technic beams)for the arms and perhaps the (...) (21 years ago, 7-Oct-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Puppy Mecha - F.I.D.O.

(...) Sit, Stay, sniff that mech's butt. This is great. I can't wait to see this at a show in the mecha display. sniffing things, raising a leg on other mechs, carrying a lego catalog to it's master. What fun. Mark Neumann Snow Daddy (21 years ago, 7-Oct-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: First mech

(...) Great job Dan. There's like what, nine studs visible? I dig the tandem cockpit. The body seems a bit small to me and the hips a tad big. Great job on the leg tech, I love to see others do a reverse knee. This looks like a light or scout type (...) (21 years ago, 7-Oct-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: First mech

(...) Thanks! :) (...) The trim color is a carry over from my space building. I started this model with the cockpit. So right away I added the red trim there and I just kept it going. It sure does have an X-Wing look to it. --Dan (21 years ago, 7-Oct-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: First mech

(...) Yeah, helps with bringing up the rear ;) (...) Originally, I had put some swivel guns on the sides but it was looking too much like the AT-ST. --Dan (21 years ago, 7-Oct-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
