  My ISSC entry

(URL) targeted at the Wild West category but I think townies and trainheads will like it too. (23 years ago, 1-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.western, lugnet.town, lugnet.trains) !

  Re: My ISSC entry

(...) It's full of life and full of detail - I think it's perfect for what it is: a scene out of lego life. Good mixture of everything! -- Pawel (23 years ago, 1-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.contests)

  Re: My ISSC entry

(...) Nice creations and layout! I like how the building style and color scheme "fit together" to form a cohseive scene. The photography is also stellar! Mark Chan (23 years ago, 1-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.contests)

  Re: My ISSC entry

(...) Good work. The buildings are all pretty neat. Heck you even used yellow. With grey though, I'll have to try that sometime. You have a nice variety of old-style cars. Only thing that seems odd is that Smith probably makes more money upstairs (...) (23 years ago, 1-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.contests)

  Re: My ISSC entry

(...) Thanks! Most of the credit for the minifig arrangements including some of the special touches (did you catch the minifig child being hugged by her mom?... (that's thanks to Gringotts Bank and the new stubby legs) are due to my daughter Taya. (...) (23 years ago, 1-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.contests)

  Re: My ISSC entry

(...) details from the predominately grey building. I think you pulled off the grey + yellow combination rather well. Good luck in the contest, although like you said yourself - some of these castle entries left me speechless. -- Pawel (23 years ago, 1-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.contests)

  Re: My ISSC entry

(...) Larry, I took three of your pictures and added a sky background to them, just to see how they would look. (You mentioned how much you liked my sky background on my Alpha Stinger.) With your permission, I can post some "before and after" shots (...) (23 years ago, 1-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.contests)

  Re: My ISSC entry

(...) Larry, Nice town, I love the details and the storyline. George (23 years ago, 2-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.contests)

  Re: My ISSC entry

Dear Larry, I think your town scene is excellent. Too bad Lego does not make extra large tan base plates - or did you intend for your streets to be paved? -Ben (23 years ago, 2-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.contests)

  Re: My ISSC entry

Larry, Looks Great! I think trains and WW should have been combined By TLG originally! I won't say much more as I'm a judge in this category, but I think your entry is very well done! Jon (...) (23 years ago, 2-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.contests)

  Re: My ISSC entry

(...) I have to totally agree, it is indeed amazing. Mark very kindly 'shopped in some sky on three of the images and sent them to me. These are not part of the entry of course since they're post deadline but they're pretty spiffy. (URL) thanks very (...) (23 years ago, 3-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.contests)

  Re: My ISSC entry

(...) Na... this town ain't THAT civilised. Just think of it as a rather grey dirt... I would have used tan baseplates but I don't have enough, I would have had to raid my completed Skyline kits (each includes 2 16x32s) and I wasn't THAT crazy (and (...)
