  RE: Misc creation

(...) excellent. You've managed to capture the color schemes perfectly. My only beef is that you're using GIF for the pictures. GIF is meant for line art with areas of solid color. JPEG is much better suited for photographs. Although JPEG (...) (25 years ago, 31-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.contests)

(...) did a great job with the extra graphics. Not counting the colors and canopy, is it part-for-part identical to the original? Crossposting and setting followups to .space -- Tony Hafner www.hafhead.com (25 years ago, 31-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.space)

  Misc creation

Greets, I'm not really all that interested in the contest but just wanted to show off a Blacktron creation to fellow Blacktron fanatics. It is not necessarily a MOC, per-say. It is the Unitron Starhawk redone in BT colors. Check it out if ya want. (...) (25 years ago, 31-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.contests)

  Last Second BT Contest Entry

Actually, I built this about a month ago but just now got around to photographing it. It's called the Shufflepod and is a smaller version of the 6876 Alienator. It would probably be used for either scouting or joyriding. It has about 45 pieces and (...) (25 years ago, 31-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.space)

Re: Attn: Anyone entering BT1 Contest - I'll be gone for the weekend...

Speaking of procrastinating, I have worked out how I will do the ballots. I will post that a little later. FYI, I will post the final ballot details after Tom completes the final update of the website. The Scrutinizer (...) (25 years ago, 30-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.space)

Hi John, (...) Yes, the hoses are pretty cool I thought. I used a spreadsheet that I got from this webpage: (URL) not exactly sure whose web page it is, but the spreadsheet on it works well.   Re: Et In Arcadia Lego HoverThing Winner !!!

(...) Thanks for running the contest! Your "out of the ordinary" contest themes really stretched my (and others) model creativity. Looking forward to your next event. I'm going to Vegas (baby, Vegas) for the weekend and I'll be updating the webpage on Jan 1st. So happy New Years everyone, and good luck to those of you (like myself) who procrastinated! ~ Tom (25 years ago, 30-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.space)

Blacktron Contest Entry: One Man Shuttle

Hi, Here is my second entry for the Blacktron I space contest: (URL) is a small one man shuttle with 2 transport holds. (...) of the BT1 Renegade in flight. As nice as it is (and it might make a good wallpaper for BT1 fans), I doubt that it would be considered a MOC... Cheers, -Hendo (25 years ago, 29-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.space)

  Re: The Blacktron Arrow

(...) S'Cool. Having done my entry in MLCAD/POVRay as well, I gotta ask: "How'd you do the hoses?" I was gonna add some (it doesn't seem completely BT1 w/o yellow hoses), but trying to build the things segment by segment caused much blurriness of (...)   Re: New MOC: Artist's Studio Retreat (ISCC Entry)

(...) Yah, I didn't even get the joke. ;) (...) Thanks! (...) The stairs are a bit too narrow, and the car has no interior, but otherwise, yes, it is compatible with minifigs. I was going to make a party scene, but then I got lazy, especially since (...) (25 years ago, 29-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.build.contests)
