Okay...I've got to get in the game on this little adventure. This is yet another great entry...amazing what a little competitive spirit can do, eh? This looks 'cool' as can be Chris - IP colours and everything! Really nice job. Cheers, -G (...) (24 years ago, 21-May-02, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, lugnet.build.contests)

Right on! Now if TLC had some IP2002 sets like this, maybe I would have purchased more than the 1 I did! Have turbocycle, will travel. Cool. Cheers, -G (...) (24 years ago, 21-May-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.contests)

(...) Don't stress over it. I was just worried that it had been dropped due to the relatively small number of entries. Bruce (24 years ago, 20-May-02, to lugnet.build.contests)

 | | Ice Planet Entry: Snowman
|
|
Hi all, More Ice Planet-y goodness! This time around it's the Snowman, a light utility/combat mecha. Wide feet and a low profile make it easy to manuever on ice. The laser cutter comes in handy for slicing through the ice caverns and enemy (...) (24 years ago, 20-May-02, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, lugnet.build.contests)

(...) I'm sorry Bruce, I'm really trying, but some of the judges have still not given me their rulings. In a few weeks, I'm just going to give up and make rulings from the results from the judges I have. Please be patient with me as I attempt to (...) (24 years ago, 18-May-02, to lugnet.build.contests)

(...) Just wondering, were there results from this contest? I know there weren't many entries, but it's the first contest I've entered so I'd hate to have it disappear. Bruce (24 years ago, 17-May-02, to lugnet.build.contests)

 | | New MOC: Absolute Zero turbocycle
|

Hi all, Mr. Drake beat me yet again, but I prevail! Here is my Ice Planet contest turbocycle - the Absolute Zero. At 96 pieces, it falls in the category II ground vehicles section. Some notes: Tires + ice = bad, but these tires have (...) (24 years ago, 17-May-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.contests)

(...) That's an interesting idea. However, that'd make the wheel sections too wide. Maybe the wheels have some sort of force field to hold them on the ice for traction, or they have microscopic spikes like Spider-man's fingers. This is science (...) (...) I love the model but have one concern. Cycles + Ice = bad. Now I admit, the wheels are wide .. but still .. 8-) Now if you have a few larger gears that you could place in between the two rims to act as "spikes" for traction .. now were (...)
