  Architectural History Resources On-Line?
 
Does anyone know of any good architectural history resources on-line? I'm specifically looking for the equivalent of an art history text focusing on architecture, but with lots of pictorial examples. So far, I've been using a combination of (...) (25 years ago, 16-Mar-00, to lugnet.build.arch)

I tend to seek information about the particular style of building I'm contemplating. For instance, when I was designing a cathedral, I spent a while collecting bookmarks of good cathedral sites. To a certain extent, I guess that saying (...) (25 years ago, 16-Mar-00, to lugnet.build.arch)

Perhaps my method of using college texts and then looking up specific buildings or movements on the web is the appropriate technique? I just find that the art cannot be appreciated without sufficient visual input. The problem is that most internet (...) (25 years ago, 17-Mar-00, to lugnet.build.arch)

I have looked for these as well, and similarly have looked up (or tried to) specific individual buildings (like the Transamerica building - (URL) some sites I found along the way, and just now by looking: (URL) (look under the Exhibis heading) (...)
