Seems many buildings in the US are this way, too. But that's just 'cause
they put small rooms in 'em.

But seriously, though, it makes sense. Many lobbies of tall buildings
are the equivalent of three or four stories high.

Hi, Thanks for the compliments. I have several reasons for having high ceilings: - In many forms of classical architecture, extremely high ceilings are the norm.
