I was supposed to receive a package from LEGO shop-at-home today but UPS damaged the package so badly they admit it was damaged and are sending it back to the shipper for inspection. I've updated the construction notes with my recent UPS experiences (...) (24 years ago, 14-Nov-00, to lugnet.build.arch)

(...) UPS delivered the package rather than sending it back. The box is crushed, and torn on three seams, but the contents seem to be intact. In all fairness to UPS this package was poorly packed. 3000 windows is sure a pretty sight :-) Amy (24 years ago, 15-Nov-00, to lugnet.build.arch)

Hi Amy, Just in contrast, I've had about 7 or 8 boxes shipped to me from S@H in the past month or two. They were shipped Canada Post parcel post, which is basically "regular" shipping. One of them arrived scuffed, as if something dirty or greasy had (...) (24 years ago, 16-Nov-00, to lugnet.build.arch)
