To All,

In lugnet.announce, Chris Leach writes:
Hello peoples, here is one of my latest buildings. It will be appearing in our
next train show in 2 weeks along with being entered in the ISCC.
The building is based on one in downtown Detroit that my company is helping
to restore. After seeing John Neals tan building I was inspired to do one of
my own but of course I for some reason can't build on just on baseplate:-)
Many thanks to Amy hughes with came over and took great photes of this
project(and who is hosting it on her web page)Also many, many thanks to all
the BB sellers out there for the parts. www.amyhughes.org/chris   LMKWYT

Chris did a magnificant job on this building. He certainly has a knack for
buiding large and beautiful creations. It is simply awesome.

One more great entry for the ISCC! I am very envious of your MichLUG/LTC
group. It must be quite a grand spectacle to see all your creations together
in one place.

Well, speaking of someone who is part of it, we really do have some great
builders in this club. Chris Leach, Amy Hughes, Peter Guenther, Steve Ringe,
Jason Spears, Rick Hallman, J. Spencer Rezalla (SP?), Larry Pieniazek, Tony
Hedglen, Kai Broderson, Trevor Pruden, and some of our newer members, Garry
Stahl, Ken Koleda, and a few more up and comers! We have a talented crew,
who continues to amaze and astound me.

The shows are a blast, and it is a kick to see people's reactions to it. If
you have a chance to join a club, or go to one of the shows around, it is
something to behold.

Thanks Mark!

(...) Very impressive! Let me echo the compliments the others have made, and add a few more things I liked: The (removable!) clear glass roof over the center lobby. I've envisioned one of these in my mind, but it's great to see one actually (...) (23 years ago, 27-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.arch)
