Hello peoples, here is one of my latest buildings. It will be appearing in our
next train show in 2 weeks along with being entered in the ISCC.
The building is based on one in downtown Detroit that my company is helping
to restore. After seeing John Neals tan building I was inspired to do one of
my own but of course I for some reason can't build on just on baseplate:-)
Many thanks to Amy hughes with came over and took great photes of this
project(and who is hosting it on her web page)Also many, many thanks to all
the BB sellers out there for the parts. www.amyhughes.org/chris   LMKWYT

Very impressive! Let me echo the compliments the others have made, and add a
few more things I liked:

The (removable!) clear glass roof over the center lobby. I've envisioned one
of these in my mind, but it's great to see one actually implemented.

The "unobtrusive" use of the Lion Heads - I love Lion Heads, but they
sometimes have a tendency to draw a lot of attention to themselves in a
model (since they are so large and the tan really stands out when the
surroundings are not tan). In a structure the size of yours, they become a
nice subtle detail.

The lobby details are a nice touch, and the mural on the backside is really
good. (50 stars on the flag!)

I know others have utilized this technique before, but the "outside rail"
detail using the 1x2 plate with horizontal rod is still neat to see -
especially in tan!

1900 windows - wow, I didn't believe it until I started counting up and
multiplying. Thank goodness for bulk packs!

One more great entry for the ISCC! I am very envious of your MichLUG/LTC
group. It must be quite a grand spectacle to see all your creations together
in one place.
