  Re: Bumble Bee Building

Round... I haven’t figured that technique out yet, I look at what few buildings have rounded walls, but it hasn’t dawned on me how it was done. If anyone wants to give me a few ideas on how its done... I would be greatly appreciative. Sarah (...) (23 years ago, 1-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.arch)

(...) Thanks, I still like it even though it didn't turn out the way I intended. I had wanted to make some kind of wizard's tower, but after I finished it, it looked like a prison. So I put those walls up around it, and took some pictures. Those (...) (23 years ago, 1-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.arch)

Even though I feel weird responding to a post to lugnet.build.arch, I'm going to do it anyway... ;-) Sarah, that building looks sweet! I really like the clean design. The stairs are cool too.   Re: My latest cathedral.

Hey buddy! Brad it's a joy to see the magic you create. This one is really somthing. Because I'm not familar with the CAD Lego stuff, it's really something to see all those shapes and angles and trying to deciper where they start and end. This is (...) I like it! It has a very earthy feel to it. It gives me a sort-of Frank Lloyd Wright feeling. The interior it really cool as well. Its good to hear that there is someone else that builds the building first and names it later. I almost never know (...) (23 years ago, 1-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.arch)

Re: New building for my downtown.

Interesting design. I kind of liked the first version as well. I've tried to do balconies on buildings, but I've never gotten it to turn out right.   Re: New building for my downtown.

Thanks, although like I said that one with the terraces has been tore apart. I may try to do something with that concept later. Yellow. Jason- I really like the terracing. It looks great, I might try that on the next thing I build.... One question though... what possessed you to use yellow?!? No one in there right mind would use yellow... ;) Sarah (...) (23 years ago, 31-Jul-01, to lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.org.us.michlug)

  New building for my downtown.

Well I made yet another downtown style building. (By this I mean, bigger than a house, yet small enough that it isn't a skyscraper). This one is yellow with blue accents. I tried one concept out first, but I didn't like it that much so after tearing (...) (23 years ago, 31-Jul-01, to lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.org.us.michlug)

(...) Hey Sarah, I like it! Really nice design and nice interior too! I was expecting something less majestic when you called it a bumble bee building. I like the corner roof peaks. Keep up the good work. Tom (23 years ago, 31-Jul-01, to lugnet.build.arch)
