(...) here in canada, there is a furniture chain called "the brick". ottawa is a quasi-bilingual city. as you might have guessed, in french, "brique" also means brick. the pun she may also have been referring to was the "herd" of cows - pictures yet (...) (...) please, go ahead! there are other rooms of furniture in my other mocs, found on my brickshelf pages. it's one of my favourite parts of the hobby. other kid's bedrooms & a murphy bed wall unit are in this (URL) folder>, smaller pieces such as (...) This thread has gotten quite tangled in lugnet.space and other groups as folks have tried to redirect it. I have just overrode followups on all messages that followed up into lugnet.space such that followups go to lugnet.build.arch. The other groups (...) Wow, I'm speechless! I wish you had posted these earlier - I have a bunch of non-AFOL furniture designers in my CAD class who were looking for something to draw for my LEGO assignment.. i too was fortunate to experience my first lego/train show at railfair 27 held in ottawa this past weekend - an experience that needs to be repeated more than once a year. the group worked well together, orchestrating the layout with smooth (...) (20 years ago, 20-Oct-04, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.town, lugnet.org.ca.parlugment, FTX) !!

Hi Folks, Good to see such discussion, but.....can ths please be taken out of .space and FUT to build.arch as a few others have already suggested? Yep-- and one of the biggest problems was the fact that the paper, although made by Lego, didn't QUITE line up with the studs at the lengths we were dealing with, because supposedly it gets stretched in the printing process. I see the buildings are arranged on large gridded paper, and each team has several reference photographs. (...) I just wanted to say that I had an absolute blast on Saturday - one of the best outings I've had as a member of NELUG. Despite having to rebuild my one section repeatedly (thus creating "The Gash"[1]), we probably could have completed our building (...) (20 years ago, 18-Oct-04, to lugnet.build.ancient, lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.town, lugnet.trains) !

The pictures aren't clear but these lattice windows... (URL) actually attached to the wall they're in. They just slide in some tracks. In fact, the top third of the window isn't attached to the bottom 2/3. Amy (20 years ago, 16-Oct-04, to lugnet.build.arch)
