  Ahboo Roo design ideas

Greetings, Earth-Mortals! I was just doodling a bit tonight in MLCAD, and found myself more focused on entry detailing than structure (which is where I started). These pics are really only quick design ideas for a country cottage trying to get out (...) (20 years ago, 24-Apr-04, to lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.cad.dat.ideas, lugnet.castle, lugnet.town)

Re: first posting, italian hillside villa

Love it, special mentions go to the pantiles and the oval flowerbed. The whole model is brilliantly executed and works together as a whole. Tim (20 years ago, 11-Apr-04, to lugnet.build.arch, FTX)

Re: more mocs - cliffhouse, museum

Re: more mocs - cliffhouse, museum

(...) <snip> (...) Some more beautiful MOC's again. The Cliffhouse is beautiful. Makes me want to build something just to include a waterfall. That waterfall is awesome. I can see why you'd have to tear it down. That's a lot of window packs. And (...) (20 years ago, 9-Apr-04, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.town, lugnet.loc.ca.on.ott, lugnet.general)

Re: more mocs - cliffhouse, museum

Hi Deborah,It was nice to see your MOC creation of the Cliff House it brought me back some nice memories of my last visit to San Francisco where I had a very romantic breakfast with my wife.   Re: first posting, italian hillside villa

(...) Hello Deborah, Great design, I love the landscape, curved wall, roof etc. But what I prefer the most is your patio table! A great way to recycle broken trees or after a dog or a kid shewed on the tree! The effect is great for outside furniture (...) (20 years ago, 8-Apr-04, to lugnet.build.arch, FTX)

Re: more mocs - cliffhouse, museum

(...) Deborah, I really like your work. There's a nice organic component to it that you rarely see in MOCs. You also have a great way of making interesting terrain for the building to be built on. Thanks, George (20 years ago, 8-Apr-04, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.town, FTX)

Re: more mocs - cliffhouse, museum

(...) too late! it's long gone, but i'm using a partially curved staircase in my present moc and have improved on it to make it stronger. the staircase in the cliff house was extremely fragile and more often than not fell over when i removed the 3rd (...)   Re: more mocs - cliffhouse, museum

(...) Very nice house. I rather like the way you've made the waterfall using both solid blue pieces & trans-blue pieces. One other thing that's interesting to is how you made the spiral staircase. I've created spiral stairs too, but never thought of (...) (20 years ago, 8-Apr-04, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.town, FTX)

I really like this one too. I especially like the curved wall and the way you did the roof (I'm going to borrow that design idea sometime). The two-level effect is very cool, too. Bruce (21 years ago, 6-Apr-04, to lugnet.build.arch, FTX)

This is my favorite shot of your villa: (URL) I love the vertical orientation of roof pieces to simulate a tile roof. This technique is worthy of a constructopedia entry!!! -- Thomas Main thomasmain@myrealbox.com (21 years ago, 6-Apr-04, to lugnet.build.arch, FTX)

Re: first posting, italian hillside villa

I love the curved wall with the windows. Usually when you see a curved wall, it curves outward instead of inward. Besides the inward curvature, your wall has 2 sizes of windows in it. Nice work! (21 years ago, 6-Apr-04, to lugnet.build.arch, FTX)

Re: first posting, italian hillside villa
