  RE: Sand-Red and White House

(...) great job combining random pieces to create the kind of detail usually reserved to widgets in space models. --Bram Bram Lambrecht bram@cwru.edu www.bldesign.org (23 years ago, 21-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.arch)

  Re: Sand-Red and White House

(...) An amazing amount of detail and thought put into this house. The color scheme is perfect, and I love the way the roof seems to curve. Great work, -Jason +---...---+ Jason Spears Michlug - (URL) Page - (URL) Store - (URL) (23 years ago, 21-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.arch)

  Re: Sand-Red and White House

(...) Thanks for your interest. Yes, the upper story I ran out of my snad red bricks and it was to late to order more to get the model finished for display. So the upper story has more white included. I could have build it without the tower, but (...) (23 years ago, 21-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.arch)

(...) wonderfully styled and they're spaced perfectly to show off that sand red/white color combination. I'm planning a hotel in those colors for MichLUG's next train show. Amy (23 years ago, 21-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.arch)

  Re: cornice

(...) ah yes, I did see that. I like how you varied the brick color on the body of the building. I see how the roof would make you build it from the top down as well. Thanks for the link. Jonathan (23 years ago, 14-Jan-02, to lugnet.town, lugnet.build.arch)

(...) Yes - it's another entry to the ISSC. It's just a small rural station building, and you'll see my windmill too: (URL) put this up before, but it's entered under Trains, not Town. Jason J Railton (23 years ago, 12-Jan-02, to lugnet.town, lugnet.build.arch)

Re: Abston Church of Christ completed today

Hey... it's fixed!! Don't know what happened. I didn't delete any of my internet files or cookies, nor did I mess around with the refresh/reload. I read your latest post here and just checked up on your link and everything looks normal now. Oh well. (...) (23 years ago, 12-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.arch)

Hmmm... it's still not working right. It is deffinately your site. What seems to happen is the extreme left of each picture and the first letter of each sentence repeated and sometimes overlaped then spread across the entire page until the next (...)   Re: cornice

(...) Me too - mainly because it's so hard to get a good selection of roof pieces. With my Brickley Station building, I re-built the roof over and over again, every time I found another dark grey slope hidden on a Star Wars model. Finally I was (...)   Re: Abston Church of Christ completed today

I tried to look but your site seems to be... scrambled? I see strange repetitions of characters and broken pics as well as overlaps of images and letters... I used to see something similiar (but on a much smaller scale) with Eric Harshbarger's site. (...) (23 years ago, 11-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.arch)

  Re: cornice

(...) I look forward to seeing the window sill. It's funny, I build a lot of my buildings from the top down as well. A couple of them I built 'from the windows out'. (windows were made first.) Jonathan (23 years ago, 10-Jan-02, to lugnet.town, lugnet.build.arch)

  Re: cornice

(...) Strangely enough, you're probably right about that :) I'm currently working on building a bunch of futuristic motorcycles, with the plan to stage a race with them. Of course I'll need scenery for that. Oh no, I need a town :) Adrian -- (...) (23 years ago, 10-Jan-02, to lugnet.town, lugnet.build.arch)

  Re: cornice

(...) Yes it does. I only used the dk gray since I had several 1x2 bricks with technic pins in that color sitting on the layout. I think I will keep the scheme for the building. I wish that curve brick was available in an upside down version -- it (...) (23 years ago, 10-Jan-02, to lugnet.town, lugnet.build.arch)
