Re: The Brick Testament - David vs Saul

Awesome work as always Brendan. Interesting way to use hinge bricks for minifigs, it's surprising you didn't do so earlier (as far as I remember). On a separate note, gay men the world over have used the "Jonathan & David" couple for centuries as an (...) (17 years ago, 6-Jul-07, to lugnet.build.ancient, FTX)

Re: The Brick Testament - David vs Saul

Hey Brendan, Another great outing. Pin the spear on the minstrel - I like the inset pillars on the wall of Saul's main hall. Also, the spear decoration is a nice idea, but I'm not 100% on the execution. I wish the clips for the third and fifth (...) (17 years ago, 6-Jul-07, to lugnet.build.ancient, FTX)

Re: The Brick Testament - The final Acts

Hey Brendan, Oops, your most recent installment (David and Saul) made me remember that I'd never commented on the Final Acts. (...) Thanks, Dave! (...) Good eye. At some point after I started using the reflective silver armor for Saul and Jonathan, I noticed that occasionally the reflections are a little too clear for comfort.   Re: The Brick Testament - David vs Saul

Hey Brendan, As usual, superlative work in every way! I was especially entertained by seeing your reflection in the soldier's chrome 2x2 dish shield about 4 or 5 pictures into "Saul tries to kill David." Dave S. (17 years ago, 1-Jul-07, to lugnet.build.ancient, FTX)

Hi, (...) now it is even more embarrassing (also because of that stupid mistakes), because both posting are unexpectingly on the front page. I'm sorry for that puzzled posting. Barbara (18 years ago, 30-May-07, to lugnet.build.ancient, lugnet.castle, FTX)

(...) This is very cool. Excellent use of the new skeletal horse. My favorite part is actually the use of the printed tiles for the Professor's table though. Well done! -Elroy (18 years ago, 27-May-07, to lugnet.build.ancient, FTX)
