This is SPARTA!!! Figure from the "300"

Well the title pretty much says it all. I created decals to make the Spartans from the new film the "300." I utilized RedBean's Spear, Helmet, and Shield to really pull this figure together, decaling the lambda on the shield. (URL) Image is (URL) (...) Having now already been highlighted on (URL) and (URL) (thanks!), I thought I'd try to get around to posting my first vignette; and first lugnet posting.   Re: The Brick Testament - David and Goliath

Oops, I almost let a BT update go by without comment. Samuel annoints David - I really like how you start with the reference to the killing in the previous story. Nice continuity. The fact that he's still carrying the axe puts a new spin on the "Do (...) (18 years ago, 6-Jan-07, to lugnet.build.ancient, FTX)

Re: The Brick Testament - David and Goliath

(...) Perhaps it is the time difference? The images in "Jonathan's Feelings for David (1 Samuel 18:1-4)" are not viewable. Other than that, this is, once again, another great installment of stories from the Bible. Thanks for sharing, Rev. - (...) (18 years ago, 12-Dec-06, to lugnet.build.ancient, FTX)

Re: The Brick Testament - David and Goliath

(...) Did you ever notice that whenever The Reverend posts a new installment, all activity on LUGNET grinds to a halt? Coincidence? I think not! (18 years ago, 12-Dec-06, to lugnet.build.ancient, FTX)

(...) I can't believe I missed the opportunity to title my post about the first set of Saul stories "Saul About the Benjaminites". That would have been awesome.   Noppingen Palace: Water Cascade

Hi all! After almost 18 months and a few exhibitions and events, I'm back into building on (URL) Noppingen Palace>. Hey, More Saully goodness. Philistines Try to Keep Weapons Out of Hands of Israelites - I like how you varied the heights on Saul's family.   Re: The Brick Testament - Saul and Jonathan Attack

Brendan, You already know how much I love your work, so I won't bore you with yet another "you're awesome" post from me. All I wanted to say is, "Dude, you have a ton of minifigs". Thanx for all that you do, and when is the next book? Scott (18 years ago, 30-Nov-06, to lugnet.build.ancient, FTX)

Re: The Brick Testament - Saul and Jonathan Attack

(...) Well, typo reports (and pointing out math mistakes) are just plain helpful. Those are always nice to get.   Re: The Brick Testament - Saul and Jonathan Attack

Not only (...) Not only are you an outstanding artist; you are also quite humble in your response to criticism. I don't know that I could have answered that post without a touch of cynicism.
