Re: The Brick Testament: The End of the World (and more!)

Hi, Tommy. (...) Gosh, thanks. I definitely think there are more impressive builders than me out there, but I guess I take some nice photos and tell a good illustrated story. (...) It pleases me that The Brick Testament has been enjoyed by people (...) (19 years ago, 5-Mar-06, to lugnet.build.ancient, FTX)

Re: The Brick Testament: The End of the World (and more!)

(...) You are perhaps the consummate artist in the medium of LEGO. I never fail to find delight in you depictions, despite the fact that I might not quite go along with all your interpretations. I think your book will probably be around until the (...) (19 years ago, 5-Mar-06, to lugnet.build.ancient, FTX)

(...) Please take and keep any discussion of the source material for Brendan's Lego work to the off-topic section of Lugnet. The .build area of Lugnet is for discussing Lego building techniques. Thank you, Clark .build curator (19 years ago, 4-Mar-06, to lugnet.build.ancient)

Re: The Brick Testament: Jesus Redux

(...) Hey. Yeah, I was out of town last week and only had minimal internet access, so didn't get a chance to go through in detail till I got back. (...)   Re: The Brick Testament: Jesus Redux

Hi, Bruce. Nice to have your comments again. (...) There's nothing in the works at this point. From what I've been able to gather, the first book (Stories from Genesis) sold very well, and initial sales of the Christmas book looked really good, but (...)   Re: The Brick Testament: Jesus Redux

(...) Hey Brendan, Very cool. I've been away for a week and didn't get much chance to go on-line. I'm assuming the revamp is anticipation of another book? (...) Woah, yeah, totally! Those were your uncles? No way! I used to eat your uncles's fishsticks all the time when I was growing up. That's so weird! -Brendan (19 years ago, 16-Feb-06, to lugnet.build.ancient, FTX)

Re: The Brick Testament: Jesus Redux

(...) Wow, Brendan, great job on scriptures! I have to say I feel a special connection to this project because my great uncle was the Lord’s Fisher of men.   Re: The Brick Testament: Jesus Redux

Re: The Brick Testament: the Book of Judges goes out with a bang

Hey Brendan, Nice installment, but I have to admit there's not a lot of new ground here for me to comment on.   Re: Death of Socrates and Buddha's First Sermon

Very nice, Lenny. I agree with others that the tree and the fresco statues are the highlights, but these are overall just very good scenes.
