Re: The Brick Testament enters The Wilderness

(...) The grey thoughts and words we're really funny and I like how you did the cloud! One question, how did you make the blood stick to the ears? It's good to see you get the sacrifying done, I'm hobby-reading the bible myself and -how can I put (...) (22 years ago, 6-Feb-03, to lugnet.build.ancient)

The Brick Testament enters The Wilderness

A new main section called "The Wilderness" has been added to The Brick Testament to cover the continuing narrative stories from the books of Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy. We kick things off with five new illustrated stories which can be found (...) (22 years ago, 5-Feb-03, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build.ancient) !!

  White Temple and Others

<snip> (...) That White Temple is really cool! Great use of an otherwise almost useless peice. The entire design combines a simple look, while being structurally interesting. over all a great success! I look forward to more! -lenny (...) I read every word that you wrote… I viewed every picture you posted… And I considered your statements in its entirety… …Thus, all I have to say is: !!!FINALLY, this is so RIGHT!!!   Re: Alt-universe Parthenon and other MOC's

Rev., Thanks for the kind words. I had meant to resize them before posting, so that's my bad. Of course, I am humbled in your presence and honored by your words. ;-) Thanks again! onedaycnn (sid) (URL) (22 years ago, 18-Jan-03, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.ancient)

(...) though. You could jpg compress these to about 1/5 the size and probably not lose any noticeable resolution. How could I have missed your post about your Chrysler Building last August? I just saw for the first time now. Wow! That's a beauty. (...) (22 years ago, 17-Jan-03, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.ancient)

  Thanks

Many thanks to everyone who took the time to critique my fishing village. I was overwhelmed by the complements. Manfred, that link was interesting, thanks.   Re: Japanese Fishing Village

(...) I have to say something in Keith's defence. Straight canals and higly profiled embankments are not uncommon in Japan's coastal regions. In the 19th century for instance, Dutch hydraulic engineers contributed to extensive river regulation (...) (22 years ago, 6-Jan-03, to lugnet.build.ancient)

  Re: Japanese Fishing Village

Hey, this is pretty cool. Very elegant-looking, in a simple and clean sort of way. I like this MOC better than Himoda (which was awesome as well). Nice landscaping, except there seems to be a lot of straight lines, especially along the water's edge. (...) (22 years ago, 4-Jan-03, to lugnet.build.ancient)

  Re: Japanese Fishing Village

(...) Nice job all around! It didn't get a close up shot, so most may not have paid it much attetion, but I thought the shrine/portal (don't remember the correct term) standing in the water was a nice detail. Brian (22 years ago, 4-Jan-03, to lugnet.build.ancient)

Keith, I like this one even better than the last one, and I really liked the last one. The layout is very cool with the different levels. My favorite construction is the bridge. I'll have to copy that design sometime. Bruce (22 years ago, 4-Jan-03, to lugnet.build.ancient)
