Having not been able to attend Brickfest myself, I had yet to see this
amazing work of art.
Couple quick questions, though.
Having recently visited LEGOLAND, I'm curious. Did any of the landmarks
built in the San Fran (or New York, for that matter) section of Miniland
influence what to highlight in the mosaic? And, was there any particular
reason you chose to cover most of the mosaic with the painted lady Victorian
houses, other than simply choice?

| Well, as detailed on the NY mosaic page, that piece of composite art was provided to me by the LEGO graphic artist. Why certain buildings were included or not was up to him. I picked the particular San Fran shot of the Victorian homes because it is (...) (23 years ago, 17-Jul-01, to lugnet.build)

| Funny that you should ask this... I was wondering myself. I am at work, and just walked from my cubicle to the water fountain to fill my water jar, and in another person's cubicle, I saw a San Francisco post card with the exact same scene as Eric's (...) (23 years ago, 17-Jul-01, to lugnet.build)
