I was wondering if anyone else had put a mindstorms motor inside their
sopwith camel to make the propeller (and engine) spin and make noise!  I had
to remove about 20 pieces and add a few gears and bricks from RIS.  If you
connect the motor to a speed regulator you are able to start the engine up
slowly.

My apologies if someone else has posted this before - I am new at lugnet,
but not at playing with Lego bricks!  I wanted to share this fun project with
everyone.

(...) If you use an un-geared motor (a la 8720) you'll be able to get the propeller turning faster. ROSCO (23 years ago, 15-Jul-01, to lugnet.build)
