I know I said I wouldn't post lame updates on the progress of my newest model, but I thought this one was more than worthy... Looks cool! Now I can't wait to figure out how the heck you are gunna use that in a mecha transport... Build on! (...) (23 years ago, 1-Apr-01, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Minigun for Mecha Transport!!!

(...) I love this gun and I'm not critacising but I have two suggestions, either leave off the bush'es and leave the axles for barrels (like I used to do) or a much better idea is to use the technic barrel piece (75535 Technic Pin Joiner Round) in (...) (23 years ago, 1-Apr-01, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Minigun for Mecha Transport!!!

Ummm... There are four reasons why I did leave the the technic bushs there: A) I like to stick to a specific colour scheme when I build my models. My mecha transport will have a grey, dark-grey, and yellow colour scheme. I don't want any black on (...) (23 years ago, 1-Apr-01, to lugnet.build)

(...) gun (...) or (...) <snip> if I'm thinking of the same piece you are (the 2 stud long, round pieces with a technic snap in each end?) wouldn't they be too large? I don't have one on hand, but I seem to recall them being slightly too wide to be (...) (23 years ago, 1-Apr-01, to lugnet.build)

(...) I have a draw full of mecha manga, I've never seen a minigun that didn't have perfectly round barrels's either real or cartoon! Steve (23 years ago, 1-Apr-01, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Minigun for Mecha Transport!!!

(...) As tonight's Stargate is rubbish I thought I'd check. And my conclusion is you are indeed wrong. The barrels are close but do not touch and are free to rotate. Perhaps you got it mixed up with another similair part, good try though. Steve (23 years ago, 1-Apr-01, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Minigun for Mecha Transport!!!

(...) the minifig tidbits are always a nice touch. I noticed you're using the top of the 1x2 hing again...that's an interesting detail piece. Keep me updated on your progress. Bryce (23 years ago, 1-Apr-01, to lugnet.build)

Thanks Bryce! The hose + 1x clip ammunition belt was a result of me always wanting to do something original and new. ;-) (...) model, (...) (23 years ago, 1-Apr-01, to lugnet.build)
