Nice plane.  I especially appreciated your background information on the plane.
I had NO idea that there ever were planes made in this "pusher" style.  I
vaguely remember seeing an illustration of the Wright brothers plane, but never
thought there were any others made.

I also thought the information on the castor oil lubrication was quite
humorous, although less so if you were one of the pilots... :-)

Then it dawned on me that I had never seen a pusher airplane made out of
Lego. I looked through a coffee table book on figher planes, I looked
through my copy of Richthofen's War rules, and settled on the DeHavilland
DH-2, a small, nimble pusher plane with a rotary engine. The engine is still
not quite right, I couldn't think of a way to make a rotary engine with 7 or
9 pistons, but I think it captures the feel pretty well.

I had the opportunity to scan my DH-2 this weekend, and put it up on my web page, (URL) . Lego's attempts at rotary and radial airplane engines have irked me. The best one is in the Eagle Stunt Flyer, (URL) the one's in the Adventurer's sets, ie the (...) (24 years ago, 5-Mar-01, to lugnet.build)
