I've found that it actually helps me to take photos of stuff I build, then
look at the photos see them through the camera's eye -- it helps me look at
them in a different way. It's also great practice with a digital camera and
lighting. Ironically, I also built a couple things that I didn't think were
so great, but actually looked better in photos than in real life. It's just
hard to predict how it'll come out once photographed.

| yes, before i had detailed the inside of my M.E.D.I.C., i discovered while thinking about how i was going to photograph it, that the photographing actually affected my design. 1) on that ship the entire cockpit/tunnel is removable so i could take (...) (24 years ago, 1-Mar-01, to lugnet.build)
