He did. And following on from the replies, it does match the profile of
some of the trans yellow Blacktron space pieces we have so I can see now
how it could be a corner piece for them. What was confusing me was what
one of the other posters mentioned - that the smooth part of the piece
is _inside_, and the side with the hollows is _outside_.

I still think it's a weird piece <g>
