Thanks! I'm very pleased with how it turned out - getting the gull-wing shape the way it looks now took over three weeks exclusively, during which time I refused to work on any other aspect. I think it's the best use for BURPS that I've seen in a long time. I think this must be what happend to all the arcologies that I launched playing SimCity years ago. I added some small additions to Nanobase1. The largest new module is an industrial annex. Huge factories and powerplants to help power the main station. Brickshelf is a fantastic tool to LEGO builders. It is fast, reliable, and easy to use. Actually you can see in some of the pics that the wings have dropped down and the engines are sort of fanned out. I like to think that it could be more maneuverable like this. Thanks! I originally had the tank all in light grey, but I decided to opt for the contrast of the two-tone color scheme. I noticed that a portion of the sticker was off the piece, so I tried to gently pull that part up. Luckily, it came right up without any damage whatsoever. Having just finished my 7317 Aero Tube Hanger last night, I'm really hoping the new sliding track piece will come in other colors. For me, it's sometimes a challenge to simply follow the instructions that come with a LEGO model (the Technic Space Shuttle comes to mind), much less to try building original models and certainly when attempting to work in three dimensions (my first (...)
