    Destroyer sneak peek —Mark Sandlin
Hi Everyone! I know I haven't made anything new in about three weeks, so just in case you think I've been idle, I took some quick pics of my Bricriu Class Destroyer, currently under construction Picture gallery: (URL) of note: -Turret gunner swivels (...)         Re: Destroyer sneak peek —Kirby Warden
(...) Hey there, Mark :^) I like the gunner's space, don't quite recall if I've ever seen a lego gunner space on a ship before. Other than the gunner's space, I think I like seeing your Helldog holding your reference. It's quirky:^) So far it (...) (23 years ago, 3-Feb-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space)

in article G85rKL.Brq@lugnet.com, Kirby Warden wrote: ~Mark "Muffin Head" Sandlin (...) There's a whole deck of gunners on my Mithrandir. :^) (...) Picked up on that, eh? ;^) (...) It'll probably be somewhere around 100 studs long. (...) Jovian (...) (23 years ago, 3-Feb-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space)

Re: Destroyer sneak peek —Joel Jacobsen
(...) That's really good, Mark - A very close likeness to the picture you're using. I'd love to see more pictures of the gun turret when you finish the project; that's really nice. That airlock is just too cool; kind of makes the one I worked out (...) (23 years ago, 3-Feb-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space)

Re: Destroyer sneak peek —Pat Hough
"Can't you outrun them? I thought you said this thing was fast." "Watch your mouth, kid, or you'll find yourself floating home." Absolutely kickass. Of course, you realize this will end up in the expanded slideshow when it's complete. Particular (...) (23 years ago, 3-Feb-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space)

Re: Destroyer sneak peek —Tim Courtney
WOW on the airlock door! I want to know how it recesses and pops out!! AMAZING!! Still trying to solve my docking ring problem....developing a standard docking ring that can be used on capships for utility purposes (preferably 6 wide) and making it (...)      I have to second the airlock, it's nice to see a working airlock, and the details! George (...) (23 years ago, 5-Feb-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space)

Re: Destroyer sneak peek —John D. Forinash
(...) If you keep posting these, people are going to start thinking I'm copying your designs when I keep borrowing ideas from them. :) The trouble is, I haven't figured out how you do some of them. Bricriu has an interesting size: it's not that big, (...) (23 years ago, 5-Feb-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space)

Re: Destroyer sneak peek —Mark Sandlin
(...) Heh. (...) It will probably be longer yet. I still need to add an engine room and the engines, as well as an upper deck for crew quarters and mess. (...) What did I do? Is it the bridge? Or the gunner dude? (...) Ah, well, it's not really (...) (23 years ago, 5-Feb-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space)

Re: Destroyer sneak peek —John D. Forinash
(...) I'm not entirely certain. It just seems like there's more stuff in this ship. Much of it is the size of things-- the two-wide staircase up to the gunners' turret takes much less space than the ladderways I'd put in to my ship. The bridge is (...)         Re: Destroyer sneak peek —Mark Sandlin
(...) The floor is at the same level, but the cap'n's chair is elevated. I used thin walls on the sides so I could inset the window. (...) Yeah, that part is hard to compensate for. However, one option is to build a staircase or lift at one central (...) (23 years ago, 6-Feb-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space)

Re: Destroyer sneak peek —Duane Hess
(...) That's a me-too. I've already printed the pictures and will be dissecting the design later. I like the slide mechanism the door uses before it swings out. That saves space since it can be incorporated into the airlock wall. The other nice (...) (23 years ago, 6-Feb-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space)
