  Building at Tony's house.

Hi Everyone, Last night I got a call from Tony Hafner, who invited me over to his house for some LEGO building.I got there about 7:30pm and stayed til about 3:00am T'was great fun. Here are the pics: Grand Admiral Sandlin makes an emergency landing (...) (23 years ago, 27-Jan-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space)

(...) least. I am somewhat disapointed by the upper cockpit, but the resT of it is awesome. Especially the double-level cargo bay, the engines, the rooms, and the shower/head (shouldn't it have a door?). I am especially impressed by the living (...) (...) I agree. (...) I actually like it; very original. (...) Definitely awesome! And I agree; it does look very much like the Space Station - To - The Moon passenger ship from 2001. (...) How does it possibly resemble Tony's hopper? (...) "Somewhat (...) (23 years ago, 28-Jan-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space)

  Re: Building at Tony's house.

(...) Mladen, please please tell me that wasn't a shot at me and the recent "plainess" critism on my Mk4. I'm on a tight money and time budget and I'm really trying to do the best I can with what I have. I really do appreciate both the critism but (...)   Re: Building at Tony's house./ Don't sweat it!

(...) Don't sweat it dude. At least you finish your models. Most of my stuff doesn't get any further than a cockpit or a couple of wings. Personally I would welcome any and all neg feedback. And besides, I think if you really wanted to impress (...) (23 years ago, 28-Jan-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space)

Re: Building at Tony's house./ Don't sweat it!

(...) Bah, I believe I could make some great stuff - I believe anyone can, if they have enough imagination - if I had the money to buy the bricks. But, I'm limited to my $20 a month budget (no job). (23 years ago, 28-Jan-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space)

  Re: Building at Tony's house.

A shot at you - Of course not! Don't you remember that I actually said I liked your model. And if you think you're the only one who barely has money or time for LEGO, just look at me: 1) 15 years old - no job 2) school - homework - tests - exams 3) (...) (...) constructive criticism, as I have said before. And the occational positive. Those tidbits are food for the soul! As for Daniel Siskind's site - I just howled in laughter when I saw the two tanks mowing down the McDonald's drive through. >:^) (...) (23 years ago, 28-Jan-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space)

  Re: Building at Tony's house.

(...) To make this clear: I just deep-down dis-like pod walls. Yes, the tug is a neat, no, awesome model. But for some un-explained reason I just strongly dislike models based of those circular walls. I can't explain it. Although I really do like (...)   Re: Building at Tony's house./ Don't sweat it!

(...) Waiiiiit a minute. I appreciate that you think my stuff is good, but also remember that I get negative criticism too. I do appreciate, however, when people give me reasons *why* they don't like something, so I can learn from it. Sometimes it's (...) (23 years ago, 28-Jan-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space)
