(...) I do the unthinkable but it's cheap and it works. Get some Throwbot sets and a nice sharp exacto blade. Start cutting at the base of where the useless part starts. This will basically yield 8 ball and socket joints per set like the ones on the (...) (24 years ago, 22-Jan-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

I really don't like cutting things up, and I have no Throwbots. I'm really not into the technic stuff. there might be a way to attach clikers to a turntable and that would simulate a primitive ball and socket. but it would (...) (24 years ago, 22-Jan-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Not only bulky, but extremely loose fitting. You said you aren't into technic but do you have any aqua zone or arctic stuff? You can use the jointed peices with a techinic peg on one end and either two or three fingers on the other. That joint (...) (24 years ago, 24-Jan-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)
