I just thought of these. They are great to make rounded corners, but
the structural soundness of the model is less than with overlapping
1x2's. They should make a 1x2 with a rounded-off end, sort of like a
1x1 with half of a 'macaroni' attached to it.

| (...) Yes, and they'd make for great door edges, allowing for easily opening flush-mounted doors without large gaps. Right now, I'm shaving some 1x2 and 1x3 bricks for this purpose, by beveling a corner so that it's roughly like 1/4 of a 1x1 round (...) (26 years ago, 27-Jan-99, to lugnet.build)

| You're right. When you try stacking those macaroni bricks, they become very unstable. I usually use only 3 or 4 on top of each other, and then a curved plate on top of that (sort of an overhang). The only stability with these is if you make a light (...) (26 years ago, 28-Jan-99, to lugnet.build)
