I doubt that TLC would have had any difficulty making something similar to
what I created. It's similar to the real BD-5, but it's different enough in
scale and detail that it couldn't really be construed as any kind of
copyright issue.

I think they just made a li'l plane and called it "Spy Runner" because they
thought it might sound neat.

That is awesome.  It is way better than TLC's Spy Runner.  I would bet the
reason TLC didn't make that plane is they either did not or could not get the
rights to reproduce the real plane.  (Remember the "Indy Storm")  I Wish TLC
would have at least made the "naboo" canopy in trans-dk. blue instead of the
"x-wing" canopy.  <sigh> oh well.
