Hi Mark,
A few other people wanted interior shots as well, but it shall never come to
pass. :(
I had originally envisioned using those cool large black castle columns with
the large black arches to decorate the inside. Unfortunately (as with most
of my buildings), I usually start playing with a prototype, and then I get
all excited about how the outside is going to look. I start building
permanent facades for the front, and then start filling in the sides. I
keep saying "Oh - I can always fill in the interior later!" Unfortunately,
even after being 1/3 done, its kind of hard to do any serious interior
retrofitting because you can't really get your hands inside. Before I knew
it, all the walls were filled in (except for some openings on the back to
admit light) and I had no interior access!
Granted, I could have ripped pieces off and built up the interior, but then
I got the idea for another building. Well, I guess I was more interested in
building yet another exterior than building up the interior. So, the
cathedral is no more!
