Hello, everyone.

I just got a strange catalog in the mail from Consumer Affairs.  When
I was
building my Huge Gothic Cathedral the lady at SAH who took one of my
orders
asked what I was building.  When I told her she said I should send
some
pictures when it was done and gave me an address to send them to.  The

address was for Consumer Affairs I think.  When I sent the pictures of
the
Cathedral 2 or 3 weeks ago I also made some comments about what I
would like
to see in parts packs in some of the new colors and slopes and plates
in
more colors.  About a week ago I called Pitsco and requested a Dacta
catalog.  In the mail yesterday I received something called the Lego,
Like
You've Never Seen It!  It seems to be a catalog showing the entire
product
line with estimated retail prices and lengthy descriptions of the
themes.
This doesn't seem to be a Dacta catalog, and I am curious why they
sent it
to me.  It seems to be similar to the It's Hard to Imagine Childhood
Without
It Catalogs from a couple of years ago.  Did anyone else get a copy of
this?

I figured I would get some kind of response from consumer affairs
about the
pics and my letter, and I am expecting a Dacta catalog, but this
doesn't
seem to fit into either of those catagories.

It seems to be a retailers catalog, they are to see.You could not get
one unless your a retailer.

(...) I did. <snip> (...) I don't think you have to be. I ordered a replacement minifig from CA, and aside from sharing an address database with s@h, I figure that's the way they got my address. (26 years ago, 2-Oct-98, to lugnet.build)
