| Thanks for the reply! Folding stock is a great idea. Maybe fold under though, and I doubt Technic pins or axles would hold the weight. I'll try to think of something... As for the bold, shouldn't be a problem except I'll probably have to use a large (...) (24 years ago, 14-Aug-00, to lugnet.build)

| Yup, spell checker found 'bold' and it is indeed a word. The word should have been 'bolt'. As for firing objects, I suppose it could be done except my barrel is non-hollow. I'd have to devise a different system. Randy -- Randy Anchikoski (...) (24 years ago, 14-Aug-00, to lugnet.build)

I don't like single purpose pieces and I tried to think of an alternate use for them. What I came up (...) (24 years ago, 15-Aug-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.technic)

| Hmmm. Sounds like a great idea. I've tried making pressurized peashooters (actually, spitwad) with LEGO without much luck. I'll give that some thought. Thanks! Randy -- Randy Anchikoski randy@viclug.tzo.com "David A." (...) (24 years ago, 15-Aug-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.technic)

It seems easy enough to imagine a setup with a magazine of piston heads, a spring-loaded striking rod, and a rotary device to cock the rod. (...) The long barrel is only an advantage when you use compressed air (in a pneumatic gun) or other compressed gases (in a regular gun). I really (...)
