    New Hexapod —Jun Yu
   hello boys and girls this is a technic hexapod i actually finished a while ago but never got around to publishing. it runs on one motor and is no longer than a single technic beam. check it out and let me know what you think.... (URL) (24 years ago, 11-Aug-00, to lugnet.build)

If I understand correctly, the up-and-down power for the legs comes from the worm gear that is on the same axle that the legs pivot around, and so the power goes smoothly from (...)      thanks for the comments yes, what you described is correct. the blades of the worm gear are angled acutely enough so that the up/down movement of the legs is not affected by the back/forth. with just one motor, you cant have too many axes of (...) (24 years ago, 12-Aug-00, to lugnet.build)
