Hey! Some of you might remember me asking about whether anyone had built rocket-powered LEGO vehicles a while back. Well, below is a link to our first (somewhat dismal) attempt: (URL) thumbs don't have explanations attached yet, but if you have the (...) (24 years ago, 4-Jun-00, to lugnet.build)

Stephen, Thanks. I'll post when 2.0 happens (maybe Wednesday night). I went to your site and had a look around. Excellent. I will be back. Randy "Stephen F Roberts" <wubwub@wildlink.com> wrote in message news:2vfnjsso3n25nbj...4ax.com... (...) -- (...) (24 years ago, 5-Jun-00, to lugnet.build)

Hey Steve, CO2 is a good idea, but how do you set them off? I've only seen C02 in those little pellet gun-sized cartridges and paintball gun cartridges. That's definitely something to think about as the MegaBloks plate got a bit melted from the (...) (24 years ago, 5-Jun-00, to lugnet.build)

With CO2, you punch a small hole in the back of the cartridge. We made CO2 cars in shop in middle school. You punch a hole, then let it go. I'll bet if you look up CO2 car on the net, you'll find an explanation. (24 years ago, 5-Jun-00, to lugnet.build)

Go to (URL) are just 2 sites. If you figure out how to do it, let me know. I won't wreck my Legos with a riocket engine, but I'll build a CO2 racecar out of them. (24 years ago, 5-Jun-00, to lugnet.build)
