Great job, I love those barracks!

Thanks - praise helps build confidence for the next project!

I love the commander's bottle of wine, it seems to perfect m-f scale (3), too
bad there aren't any wine cups to scale...

I think I first saw the idea in a newsgroup posting. I wanted to do a green
one, but I was missing half; red and yellow are the only transparent colours
I have both cylinders and cones in.

A lot of Lego stuff isn't really to any reasonable scale, I think. Minifigs
are more like dwarves. Then there are those 12 foot poles with the 50
pound axe-head on the end! And the 5 foot silver swords. And those weird
small brown castle doors. And... :-)

I like the way your 2nd floor comes out, in some ways it's similar to my
method in the inn, but you kept the exterior wall connected at all times - I
hadn't thought of that!

Well, they are sort-of connected. The grey part and the back-right-hand
part come out pretty easily.

All in all, great stuff, and I can't wait to see more!

Thanks - it'll be a while though. This barracks took nearly a month of
elapsed time, and there are other things I need to do besides Lego. :-(

Don't design inefficiency in - it'll happen in the implementation.

(...) Pick up a copy of <set:5316> from S@H. Then you'll be able to make red, green, yellow, and blue wine bottles. :) This is by far my favorite accessory pack. I get a couple every time I order from S@H. ;) (...) I did the same kind of thing in my (...) (25 years ago, 25-Apr-00, to lugnet.castle)

Hey Chris! Great job, I love those barracks! I'm not sure what you mean by curtain wall, I'm not familiar with that term. Can you explain what that is? I absolutely adore your attention to interior details. I'm a goner for interior (1) and your's is (...) (25 years ago, 22-Apr-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.castle)
