I'm no expert on Tyco, but I do have a few pieces (from a red Castle set). And the
only slopes that were in the set were 1x4x3 low slope roof bricks in gray. They
appear identical to the Lego low slopes in gray, with nearly an identical shade of
gray.

Also the texture of the slope was different. I didn't realize these before (...) (25 years ago, 2-Apr-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.general)
