      Correct, the top is open... to allow some access in case there is some trouble with the gear assembly or something. Plus, at 7 feet off the ground, you can't see the top anyway. eric (...) (25 years ago, 21-Jan-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.general)

   At the risk of being pilloried, (but I gotta know), would you consider selling the clock (or a clock)? [ok, so that is really two, quite different questions] Actually the real question I had in mind was... had you thought about putting it up for (...)     (...) The easiest way for me to answer this would that I would certainly consider making another clock (or any other sculpture) for a commission. You are right, the cost would be high... not only to cover the bricks, but just for the time involved (...) (25 years ago, 22-Jan-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.general)
