Well, one day I just stopped going for haircuts and...oh, you meant the
minifig hair. It's Qui-Gon's hair from the SW Ep1 sets, no modification.

It's red, just like the real thing. The face was originally on a castle
'fig (I think Royal Knights), which is identical to the Cap'n, except no
eyepatch. I did modify it slightly by removing the bangs with a pencil
eraser.
I've got a couple of versions of that head, with very red hair,
brownish-red, and black. I think they're pretty much all from Castle
sets, although some may be from Pirates.

Actually, I was wearing some very faded/light-colored blue jeans in the
picture. I should have grabbed a pair that was more blue, I guess... 8)
I need a brighter red shirt, too.

| (...) As I was sorting pieces last weekend (oops, wrong ng!), I found a castle fig that had the reddish brown hair and beard. I guess when I first got it, I probably assumed it was brown, but in a good light, it's definitely auburn. (25 years ago, 25-Jan-00, to lugnet.build)
