G'Day
I find for really long trailers (100+ studs) technic beams placed side by
side staggered and pegged together and plates over top gives a really strong
floor. ( I just can not get any higher because I run out of bricks :)).
For a trailer hitch I use either a train bogey plate mounted upside down
(just use some 1x6 technic beams pegged upside down the other supporting
beams the right way up), then on the rig use bricks placed side ways with a
1x2 technic beam in the middle to accept the pin from the trailer. (See

pretty well.

The trailer is 24x96 studs, so I'll be widening a spare 5571 to match (may lengthen it a bit too, and will definitely add a Technic engine). You don't even want to know how many 1x16 black (...) (25 years ago, 13-Oct-99, to lugnet.build)
