The REALLY big models are impressive too - but remember many

else who built their own trailer to fit their 5571 Monster Rig;-)

Speaking of which, I'm finally getting around to that.  The trailer is
24x96 studs, so I'll be widening a spare 5571 to match (may lengthen it a
bit too, and will definitely add a Technic engine).  You don't even want to
know how many 1x16 black bricks are going into this dang trailer ;-)  Right
now, it's just the floor and about 6-7 bricks of side height, and a
perimeter of 3 level 1x16 beams on the underside for stiffening the floor -
even with all the beams underneath, and a 2 plate floor, it still flexs too
much, I've got to figure out how to keep the floor plates from moving.  I'd
hate to have to cover the entire underside of the floor with beams/bricks,
but if that's what it takes...

Ideas for attaching it to the tractor reliably???

G'Day I find for really long trailers (100+ studs) technic beams placed side by side staggered and pegged together and plates over top gives a really strong floor. ( I just can not get any higher because I run out of bricks :)). For a trailer hitch (...) (25 years ago, 13-Oct-99, to lugnet.build)
