Yes 1/2 rev/sec is about right, the micromotor is geared down a lot.
That's why it's so noisy. It's good as a power source for animations,
etc as you don't need a separate gear train. GMLTC transfer table uses
two.
You can stall it and at that point you have to work it loose again. I
have not permanently damaged one yet, knock on wood.

| I bought a 6979 Interstellar Starfighter recently on a substantial discount recently for about $38 USD, which seemed like a pretty good deal considering it had some fiber optic stuff and a micro motor. After building and trying it out I found that (...) (25 years ago, 3-Sep-99, to lugnet.build)
