Have you tried a micromotor? I have not tried to motorize my car yet, but
that is what I will use for steering. The steering is stiff at the rack on
this car and will need some loosening. The micromotor will stall if the load
is too great preventing breakup. It is also very compact, but will need a
free running gear train. Good Luck! I should do mine with in this week.

| (...) Agreed. I have motorized a number of technic sets per the instructions and always use a Micromotor for steering. Just the right speed (...) One big thing to watch out for is if you stall the micromotor, it sometimes gets stuck, even if you (...) (25 years ago, 8-Aug-99, to lugnet.build)
