What I really would like to see is a tool to remove plates or bricks where the edges aren’t accessible (i.e. the middle of a studs out mosaic). Needle nose pliers would do the job, but leave marks on the studs.

Any good ideas out there?

Its seems to me that one of these would do the trick: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=75535 Technic pieces have got a slightly smaller hole diameter, and so it should always grab on well.

Hope this helps, --Peter
