Hey Anne,
Cute scene. To me it doesnt really scream out underwater, though. In part
its the flowers, as john noted, but also the green ground. In most undersea
MOCs Ive seen (obligatory self-promotion:
heres my only
underwater MOC), the ground was tan, which looks like a sandy bottom. Perhaps
also some of the seaweed pieces scattered about.
So this was a commissioned work? Do you get a lot of those? Ive considered
trying to do that before but figured I wouldnt get any actual buyers.

| (...) It's very surreal-looking, I agree. It's what the customer wanted. (...) Yes, this was commissioned work. I do get a quite a few requests, but when people realize the scope and cost, they tend not to be as serious as you would think. (...) (18 years ago, 19-Oct-06, to lugnet.build)

| My latest wedding project.. an "Under the Sea" theme wedding. (URL) Story and photos here: (URL) Let me know what you think. I'm curious to what people use for building techniques for the under-water look, and how I could have improved this. Cheers! (...) (18 years ago, 18-Oct-06, to lugnet.build, lugnet.announce.moc, FTX)
