| | (...) unfortunently the faset brick isin't very usefull past using it with another faset part. the easyist way to acheive the octagonal look is to use hinge bricks or plates and angle the walls. here's the parts that will be most usefull: (2 URLs) (...) Like, a 45 degree wall of length 7, 17, 24, 33, or 41 will all join up with the hinges Ondrew mentioned, and be pretty darn close to (...) (20 years ago, 12-Mar-05, to lugnet.build)

| | | | I used the parts linked above to make some octagonal towers in a large castle MOC I built recently. At the bottom, I attached two opposite sides (parallel) to the supporting pieces below the tower, and then let the other 6 sides "float", just (...) (20 years ago, 13-Mar-05, to lugnet.build)
